Emilia Mala is a luxurious London-based brand, launched specializing in printed silk scarves with bold prints. Since the launch, Emilia Mala has been featured in the British Vogue and stocked in several online retailers & boutiques in the UK and internationally.

The mission of the rand is to reinvent silk scarf in a fun and innovative way juxtaposing elegance and edginess, combining vintage glam to dark aesthetics. Emilia Mala prints are based on hand-drawn illustrations and the scarves are ethically made in England from high-quality silk twill and carefully hand-finished with rolled hems.

Anna Tuomaala is the creative mind behind the Emilia Mala brand.The brand name comes from her middle name and the end of her surname.

Anna was born in Finland and educated in womenswear design at Aalto University in Helsinki, Ravensbourne College (BA) and Central Saint Martins in London (MA Womenswear Design). She has worked with many brands in London & Antwerp, including Les Chiffoniers & Agent Provocateur before starting Emilia Mala.

Partnering with Christo - a tech entrepreneur, Emilia Mala started originally as a project out of passion for illustration, visual art and excellent craftsmanship.
